There was a socially minded organization called Green Shield Canada (GSC) that became known for building smart, sustainable benefits plans and for its unwavering commitment to improving the health and well-being of Canadians. Soon it grew to become Canada’s fourth-largest health and dental benefits provider.
Then in 2020—based on its belief that all Canadians should have access to services they need to live their healthiest lives—GSC embarked on a journey to better serve customers and communities and to evolve into an integrated health services organization, seeking to be Canada’s only payer-provider.
This evolution allowed GSC and the GSC group of companies to further supplement their group benefits administration offerings by adding even more all-Canadian expertise and innovation through the acquisition of us—Computer Workware Inc. (CWI).
Built by Canadians, for Canadians, CWI is a leader in Canadian benefits administration technology and outsourcing. As a result, now with CWI as part of the GSC group of companies, for all clients—insurers, plan sponsors, TPAs, and associations—taking it easy at work has never been easier.
As proud Canadians, we’re also proud to be part of the GSC group of companies and share its commitment to giving back to Canadian communities.
