Computer Workware (CWI) is a Canadian software company based in Mississauga, Ontario, focusing on the development of insurance administration solutions for employee group benefits. Since 1986, we have been providing software products for insurance companies and Third Party Administrators.
Sandy is a Managing Partner, Principal Software Developer, and a member of CWI’s executive team.
Leading a team of developers, Sandy is responsible for overseeing all phases of client and software projects, including solution design, development, testing, issue management, and post-delivery services.
Since joining CWI, Sandy has been instrumental in developing key elements of CWI’s flagship product, VITAL Objects™, including billing (individual, group, and self-admin), payroll and the reporting module and heavily involved in its overall database design.
Sandy has over 24 years of experience building solutions for the group benefits industry.
Henry Fok is a Managing Partner, Principal Software Developer, and a member of CWI’s executive team. Henry co-leads the development team and is responsible for all phases of CWI’s software lifecycle, from solution design to post-delivery optimization and services.
Henry is responsible for creating and designing components of VITAL Objects™, CWI’s complete billing/administration system for the group benefits insurance industry. Those components include billing, payroll, and reporting.
Initially trained in a legacy systems environment at Mutual of Omaha, Henry’s work on mainframe billing systems led to his pioneering efforts in rapid application development using the desktop computer as a platform. Henry continued with these efforts upon joining CWI.
An industry veteran, Henry has over 28 years of experience building software solutions for the group benefits industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science for Data Management from the University of Toronto.
Chris Mascitelli is Chief Customer Officer, a member of CWI’s executive team, and responsible for the overall management of CWI’s business.
Chris is responsible for CWI’s sales and business development strategy, including revenue and business expansion initiatives. Focused on creating and fostering client relationships, Chris is a tireless advocate of aligning CWI’s technology development to customer benefits.
Chris has over 28 years of sales and marketing experience providing IT solutions to the business community. Before joining CWI, Chris led the business partner organization at Juniper Networks Canada and held sales and leadership roles at AVAYA, Nortel Networks, and Bay Networks.
As Chief Solutions Architect and a member of CWI’s executive team, David is responsible for creating CWI’s platform direction and developing new solutions that will provide ongoing value to CWI’s customers and the overall industry
Joining CWI in 1994, David played a critical role in creating the design and overall architecture of CWI’s multi-tier enterprise application and flagship product, VITAL Objects™.
David leverages his extensive industry experience to mentor team members in new technology and best practices. Through longstanding engagement with clients, he has developed a deep understanding of client needs and how to align CWI solutions to those requirements.
David graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and an expert in C++ and C#.
Alexander is a developer team leader and an application developer who is responsible for enterprise applications development. He leads and coordinates the CWI technologists and business development professionals to enhance CWI’s current software capabilities, develop new applications, and create more intuitive and powerful web interfaces.
With over ten years in a lead developer role, Alex continues to innovate and create new enhancements for CWI’s flagship software, Vital Objects. Alex is a Microsoft Certified Professional Specialist (MCPS), Technology Specialist for .NET Framework and web applications (MCTS), and Solutions Developer for Web Applications (MCSD).
Kris is Computer Workware’s senior software developer, responsible for front-end and back-end application development and is deeply involved in all aspects of CWI’s software solutions — design, User Interface, development, deployment, and support. Kris also manages critical client change requests.
Richard is our senior software developer who is responsible for building and designing the Vital Objects user interface and features.
Richard and the development team collaborate to create and improve CWI’s scalable benefits administration software and to ensure that software addresses the evolving requirements of CWI’s clients.
Richard’s experience spans 10+ years of applications development within the financial and benefits industries.
JM’s field of expertise as senior software developer is in custom software development at CWI, specializing in Microsoft technology, with over ten years of experience in programming ASP.NET web applications.
Susan works closely with clients to ensure they receive the maximum benefits from the full range of capabilities of our software platforms.
With over 20 years of experience working with large and small insurance companies and associations, She has extensive knowledge of employee group benefits and CWI’s flagship software, Vital Objects and its cloud-based counterpart, iBenefits.
Susan conducts a wide range of onsite and remote training for CWI clients. For upgrades and new installations, she also delivers detailed onboarding training to ensure clients fully understand and can fully utilize all the benefits of the CWI solution.
A graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honors Degree in English Language and Literature, Susan also holds a technical writing accreditation from Humber College.
Jean has more than 13 years of experience as Programmer/Analyst and Quality assurance in Information Technology industry.
She is a certified tester issued by Canadian Software Testing Board and she has an extensive knowledge in variety of ERP software in multiple industries.
Before she joined CWI, she worked as QA Analyst for a manufacturing software in Ontario. She was also a developer working with various companies on customized software solution.
She has a good knowledge of supply chain and financial modules/operations.
Sarah is responsible for developing a marketing plan to execute multiple different campaigns to grow the business as well as the execution of the brand.
She establishes the image of CWI through digital platforms and maintains a common brand feel in the communication channels. Sarah collaborates with the development team and assists in the design of features that benefit our clients.
A graduate of McGill University (Bachelor of Arts), Sarah is currently a certified Group Benefits Associate issued by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plan.
